Yizhi Technology's EPC project report: successful start-up of natural gas to hydrogen plant and dry gas recovery plant for Longyan Petrochemicals

Good news!!! Chengdu Yizhi Technology Co., Ltd. has successfully started up the natural gas to hydrogen plant and dry gas recovery plant.
Chengdu Yizhi Technology Co., Ltd. on 30th March, 2021 came to the EPC project good news:
I. PSA Unit I of the hydrogen plant with a design nominal capacity of 84,380Nm3/h (the feedstock gas is the medium-variable gas of the hydrogen plant) was successfully started up on 20 January 2021; PSA Unit II of the hydrogen plant with a design nominal capacity of 30,000Nm3/h (the feedstock gas is high molecular weight gas + low molecular weight gas after desulphurisation + ethylene-rich gas + suspended-bed hydrogenation waste hydrogen) was successfully started up on 24 March 2021 On 24th March 2021, the plant was successfully commissioned;
The two PSA units are capable of supplying a maximum of 114,000 Nm3/h of 99.9 per cent or more of high-purity product hydrogen "when working simultaneously".
Secondly, the dry gas recovery unit of 400,000 tonnes/young hydrocarbon cracker with a design nominal feed gas processing capacity of 40,557Nm3/h (the feed gas is catalytic dry gas) was successfully started up on 24 March; the dry gas recovery unit adopts the VPSA technology, and the feed gas is passed through the unit to obtain the C2+ product gas (max. 19,914Nm3/h, with the methane removal rate of not less than 75%) and the hydrogen-enriched gas (max. 20,642Nm3/h). 20642Nm3/h), the C2+ product gas is delivered to the shallow cooling oil recovery unit as raw material, and the output of hydrogen-rich gas is recycled to meet the owner's demand for hydrogen in the plant.
So far, the three PSA plants of 5.5 million tonnes/year heavy oil catalytic thermal cracking and 950,000 tonnes/year polyolefin project of Longyan Petrochemical, a key revitalisation project in Heilongjiang Province constructed by Chengdu Yizhi Science & Technology Co., Ltd. have been successfully started up in one go after 14 months' construction, and have been handed over to the owner for use.
In view of the actual situation of rampant epidemic and pressure of prevention and control during the construction period, each department grasped the epidemic prevention and control with one hand and project construction with the other hand, actively responded to the challenge of the epidemic, took multiple measures and removed all difficulties, and finally completed the construction goals with quality and quantity, and all the indexes of the plants reached the advanced level of the industry, proving the company's development tenet of "technology as the guide, quality as the focus and service as the core" with actions.
